Cyprus Foundations, one of the oldest and deep-rooted institutions in the world, is celebrating the 453rd anniversary of its establishment in 1571 and the 68th anniversary of its takeover from the British on 15 April 1956.

The Evkaf, which takes care of various immovable properties that our ancestors endowed many years ago and spends all the income from these immovable properties on charitable works today, continues to set an example in the society.

Evkaf, which endeavours to increase social unity by supporting our citizens in every field, especially education, health, food and shelter, with its comprehensive activities, reaches large masses through Goodness Volunteers.

Goodness Volunteers, consisting of hundreds of young people, serve every day in many areas such as visiting the elderly, food aid to stray animals, raising environmental awareness, and helping people in need. The coordinators, who are leaders in Nicosia, Kyrenia, Güzelyurt, Famagusta and İskele regions, also instil the importance of doing good to young generations.
