Ambassador of Sweden to Nicosia Martin Hagström paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, Director General of the Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf).

Ambassador Martin Hagström, who started the visit by conveying his good wishes for Ramadan, which has religious importance for Muslims, wished Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer success in his new post.

Expressing his pleasure to welcome Hagström, Ambassador of Sweden to Nicosia, Prof. Dr. Tümer stated that Evkaf is a very important institution for the region and has been continuing its good deeds with the support provided in education, health and social fields since 1571.

Ambassador Hagström mentioned that people living in the refugee camps in the South need carpets and the Holy Quran to fulfil their worship. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, General Director of Evkaf, stated that the stated needs will be met immediately by Evkaf and that they will provide Muslims with a suitable environment where they can worship as soon as possible.
