The 5th International Vounous Terracotta Symposium continues this year with the sponsorship of Evkaf, as every year

The V. International Vounous Terracotta Symposium, held by Çatalköy - Esentepe Municipality between 1-16 September 2023, continues with the sponsorship of Evkaf this year, as every year.
The opening ceremony of the great organization, attended by 70 artists and academics from 10 countries, took place yesterday in Çatalköy.
Making a statement during the opening ceremony, Foundations General Director Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter stated that if we want our children to pass on our historical values ​​to the next generations, we need to explain our cultural heritage to them very well and that every activity should be supported.
In the information given by the President of the International Vounous Terracotta Symposium, Researcher Rauf Ersenal, it was also stated that replica works of historical artifacts stolen from Cyprus five thousand years ago by foreigners and taken abroad were carried out in this symposium, and thus our cultural heritage was learned by the entire society.
The symposium, which includes ceramic works, bronze casting, glass melting, textile primitive firing techniques and archaeological presentations, will contribute greatly to the promotion of our country all over the world.
