Shedding Light on the History of Cyprus with Evkaf Studies
Cyprus Foundations Administration has signed a new study on the history of Cyprus.
“Sultan II. The work titled “Cyprus Maps in the Period of Abdulhamid” was presented to the information of the Turkish Cypriot People by Evkaf.
As can be seen from the sample map image below, it is understood that these maps, which are all handmade, were drawn in 1878. Accordingly, it is considered that these are the last maps drawn about Cyprus among the Ottoman sultans, and the fact that the maps are in line with reality increases the scientific value of these maps.
