Evkaf Cup Removed in 452nd Year Goodness Football Tournament
The football tournament, organized by the Cyprus Foundations Administration to spread goodness, took place this year at the Paphos Ülkü Yurdu Sports facilities.
Young generations, who played with the slogan of "Let's compete in the best of kindness", competed in brotherhood.
4 teams participated in the tournament, namely Lefke Sports Club, Yalova Sports Club, Binatlı Yılmaz Sports Club and Paphos Ülkü Yurdu.
In the competition where the best ones were determined as a result of the match between them, Paphos Ülkü Yurdu won the first place and lifted the Evkaf cup, while Binatlı Yılmaz Sports Club managed to come second.
As a result of the match where all the young people competed in goodness, Lefke Sports Club came third, while Yalova Sports Club took the fourth place.
Evkaf Deputy General Manager Mehmet Güneş, who made a statement after the tournament, stated that Evkaf is a charity institution for 452 years and continues to work for the purpose of goodness with the activities it has carried out since its establishment.
Thanking all the participating clubs and athletes for their efforts, Güneş concluded his words by saying, “Friendship won tonight. As we always say, sports are friendship, peace and brotherhood.”
