Great Interest in Evkaf's Publications from European Universities

Sharia Registers, which mean court minutes, give very important clues about what life was like in Cyprus in the past.

After the publication of the Turkish version of the Sharia Registers, which is an important source for many scientific studies, the English version was also published in order to meet the requests from many universities around the world.

Sharia Registers, which contain important information about the history of Cyprus and are presented to the public in printed form by working on 450-year-old archives, are now presented to the public on a digital platform for easier access by everyone.

In these books, which deal with the cases brought to court regarding Cyprus between 1580 and 1609 and the provisions regarding the administration of the island, it will be possible to come across a lot of information about the life of those years that has not come to light until today. The book, published in 2 volumes, contains 109 original tables and 43 maps related to the subject.

Sharia Registers, sent by Evkaf to state libraries and university libraries all over the world, are now available on the digital platform for everyone to access.
