This statement was deemed necessary due to the recent allegations regarding the Fazıl Polat Pasha Farm in Güzelyurt, which have been in the public eye.

The Cyprus Foundations Administration continues its efforts with determination to best protect, develop, and pass on to the future the foundation's relics, which have been the property of the Turkish Cypriot community since its establishment. In this context, the Fazıl Polat Pasha Farm is also owned by our Administration, and all inspection and control processes are regularly conducted in accordance with relevant legislation.

The public allegations of "leasing in violation of tender rules" and "abandonment of the farm to neglect" are untrue. The Cyprus Foundations Administration prioritizes transparency, equality, and the public interest in all leases. The process regarding the farm's lease complies with legislation.

Furthermore, a report prepared by our Administration's inspectors following the inspection is available. This report establishes that the necessary maintenance work has been carried out to protect the trees on the farm and increase its yield, and that a planned cleaning and irrigation program has been implemented.

Following inspections, it was determined that all wells on the farm were maintained, but due to the salinity level in the existing wells being approximately 10,000 ppm, they were not being used effectively for irrigation. Despite all this, cleaning, wild tree rehabilitation, and irrigation efforts continue regularly, while efforts are also underway to drill new well sources and install modern irrigation systems. Furthermore, following the wild tree rehabilitation, planting of new species and regeneration efforts will be initiated immediately.

Furthermore, the claimants' public statements without consulting the institution are not only in bad faith but also reveal that these claims are deliberate.

As the Cyprus Foundations Administration, all necessary measures are being taken to protect foundation properties, which are the common trust of the community, against any neglect or damage. If any violation of the contract is detected, legal action will be taken immediately.
