The Palestine Solidarity Tent, set up by the Cyprus Palestine Initiative in the Nicosia Terminal area, aimed to draw attention to the human rights violations suffered by the Palestinian people and raise public awareness.

The Cyprus Foundations Authority supported this meaningful initiative, participating in the tent site with its Evkaf Goodness Volunteers team. The volunteers conducted informational activities on site and informed visitors about the humanitarian situation in Palestine.

The Cyprus Foundations Authority released a statement stating:
“In accordance with our historical mission and foundation culture, we have always made it a principle to stand with the oppressed. Supporting this tent, established to draw attention to the injustices suffered by the Palestinian people and raise public awareness, is a humanitarian and moral responsibility for us.”

Individuals and institutions from various segments of society contributed to the event organized by the Cyprus Palestine Initiative. The Cyprus Foundations Authority stated that it will continue to support such solidarity initiatives and urged the public to be more sensitive to the issue of Palestine.
