The Cyprus Turkish Multiple Sclerosis Association gained its association building with the support of Evkaf
The building in Dumlupınar/Küçük Kaymaklı, where the Turkish Cypriot Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Association met after 23 years, was opened.
The association, which was established in 1999 to raise awareness of the society about MS disease and to support MS patients, took its first step to the association building, where Evkaf could continue its activities in line with the opportunities provided by it, with a ceremony.
After Evkaf provided rental support and furniture expenses for the association building, the opening of the association building as a thank you was made by Evkaf General Manager Prof. Dr. Performed by Ibrahim Benter.
MS Association President Sibel Hançerli stated that the association was founded in 1999 by Ercan Saymen and despite all the difficulties it managed to stand. Noting that all the doors they knocked on the building for years were slammed in their faces, Hançerli thanked Evkaf and all the donors in the person of the Cyprus Foundations Administration Manager İbrahim Benter, who made a dream come true.
Noting that they were happy to support the opening of this building, which will raise awareness of the society about MS disease and will also provide benefits in many ways by allowing MS patients to be under the same roof, Benter also thanked the managers of the MS Society who support MS patients for their voluntary contributions.
