On the 60th anniversary of the 8 August Şanlı Erenköy resistance, one of the most important resistances of the Turkish Cypriot nation's struggle for independence and freedom, we commemorate all our martyrs, especially our Erenköy martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our beloved homeland, with mercy and gratitude.
