450 years ago, after the conquest of Cyprus by the Ottomans, a foundation was established as the first thing.

Sultan Selim, who gave an edict saying that Muslims and non-Muslims in Cyprus should not be victimized, and that they should live a peaceful life, also opened the door to the spread of the understanding of foundation on the island.

Since the aim is not to exploit but to revive and offer a peaceful life to people, a total of 2200 foundations have been established across the island.

With the foundations established, a naive understanding has been adopted from education to health, from daily life to almost every field, and the service produced has been carried to the present day.

We commemorate our ancestors with mercy and gratitude, who helped today by establishing a foundation and fighting for the future.
