Animal Foundations
When the foundations established by our ancestors are examined in detail, it is seen that all living things on earth are cared for and thought through to the smallest detail. The foundation civilization, which rose on love and compassion, protected and guarded all living things, from the ant on the ground to the bird in the sky.
The love for animals of our grandparents, who aim to serve without discriminating against any living creature on earth, is also remarkable.
“Foundation Giving Bread to Street Animals” Fresh bread was bought and fed to street animals.
With the "Foundation for the Development of Silkworm Breeding", it aimed to improve sericulture and beekeeping and to develop and expand it using scientific methods.
With the "Foundation Opening Pasture for Animals", pastures were opened primarily for grazing livestock and livestock. As the first source of income, the pasha's cattle were donated. In fact, in the specification of the foundation, studies were added to obtain various products from different seeds.
The “Foundation Watering the Animals of the People and Passengers” was established for the public and the people passing by to benefit from the pools of the fountains built within the boundaries of the specified lands, with the animals, wolves and birds as they wish.
The "Güvercinhane Yaptıran Vakfı", which was established for the shelter of pigeons and birds, stipulated the maintenance of the pigeon houses as well as the services of the foundation.
The "Foundation for the Protection of the Storks" undertook the task of feeding and protecting the storks.
With the "Animal and Seed Improvement Foundation", the healthiest animals were selected and purchased. The animals that were taken into care and protection were reproduced and their progeny were improved.
In other words, our grandparents, who established a foundation for almost every detail of life, also attached great importance to animals. The fact that the violence against animals is increasing day by day shows that there is much more to be learned from our grandfathers and their understanding of goodness.
