Benter: The greatest wealth in life is not owning luxury houses and cars, but being able to touch lives

Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf) and TRNC Disabled Persons Solidarity Association, which has been working together for 365 days as a stakeholder institution, made joint statements within the scope of December 3, World Disabled Day.

On this occasion, TRNC Disabled People's Solidarity Association President Ömer Suay, Foundations General Director Prof. Dr. While visiting İbrahim Benter, they met with disabled families at the dinner organization held in the association building.

Making statements during the visits, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter gave remarkable messages to the society.

Benter said that the greatest wealth in life is not to own luxurious houses or cars, but to be able to touch lives, and added that we, as a society, should do more than we can to provide convenience to our disabled individuals.

On the other hand, Benter emphasized that the social conditions offered to our individuals with physical disabilities are not equal and invited all authorities to do more, saying that if a child cannot fulfill his simplest basic needs on his own in school, we all have a share in this.

Ömer Suay said in his statement: “Pleasing hearts, touching lives, planting a seed for the future is an understanding that comes from our ancestors. The steps taken with this understanding and sensitivity contribute significantly to the future of the disabled community in particular and our entire country in general. From this perspective, the contributions of institutions with a foundation spirit, such as Evkaf, are extremely valuable to us in the social state mission we have undertaken. "Feeling the warmth of a friendly hand both on our shoulders and in our hearts on the difficult road we walk, helps reduce our fatigue in terms of our struggle and enables us to take more effective steps," he said.
