EVKAF General Manager Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter hosted international students

Organized by the Nicosia Folklore and Youth Center (FOGEM) with the main sponsorship of the Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf), the “15. International Summer Joy Children's Festival” ends on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Children of earthquake victims, who are guests in our country representing Poland, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria and Turkey, and FOGEM dancers representing TRNC, participate in the festival, where children perform traditional plays belonging to their countries.

In the program held on Sunday, June 4, gifts were presented to the teams hosted at the Iskele Culture House by the Iskele Evkaf Kindness Volunteers, while international teams presented gifts they brought from their countries.

The Diaries of Kindness, created by Evkaf in 2015 and printed in 6 different languages ​​for children to write down the good deeds they did during the day, were also presented to international dancers.

On Thursday, June 8, General Manager Prof. Dr. Hosted by İbrahim Benter, the guest students planted flowers in the Evkaf garden, which has kept the civilization of kindness alive for 452 years, leaving a meaningful memory.
