Foundation that Buys Holiday Dresses for Female Students Living in Nicosia

A parcel/house in Tahtakale district, now located in Othello street of Nicosia in Southern Cyprus, was donated and a foundation was established under the name of Emine Hanım İzzet Ağa on 9 November 1939.

In its charter, it is stated that "One bab hane will be spent in order to make holiday dresses for poor girl students in the elementary Girls' School in Nicosia, in the Tahtakale district, and in accordance with the title deed dated 27 June 1915".

We commemorate our ancestors with mercy and gratitude, who were on the side of the poor by establishing foundations, and shed light on our day with a lifestyle based on kindness.
