Did Osman ensure the emergence of a great civilization on the Turkish and Islamic heritage of the past. Foundations are also an important part of this civilization. It is seen that foundations were established by especially sultans, high-level statesmen, scientists, wealthy or ordinary people. Asporça Hatun Foundation, Mekece Foundation, Imaret Foundation in Bursa, Gebze Complex Foundation and Gazi Süleyman Pasha Foundation are some of the foundations established in the early Ottoman period.

The most important endowment written in Turkish during the establishment period is the foundation charter dated M.1360 of the soup kitchen, which was commissioned by Orhan Gazi in Bursa.

After the conquest of Cyprus, the same understanding of civilization led to the establishment of more than 220 foundations on the island and to carry the services until today.
