Iskele Evkaf Produces Youth at TMK
In the Iskele Evkaf Turkish Maarif College, which was brought to the Iskele region by the Cyprus Foundations Administration in 2021, the vegetable harvests grown by the students were collected in the "Garden of Goodness" project, which will set an example for many schools. Young people who collect the harvest they sow with their own efforts and sell the income they get from the harvest to contribute to their schools now enjoy producing.
Spending time with the students and collecting the harvest, Cyprus Foundations Administration General Manager Prof. Dr. In his speech, İbrahim Benter said that we need to raise young people with good morals who can think, question, solve problems and most importantly produce for our schools.
Children should understand at a young age how beautiful and enjoyable it is to produce, so that they make it a habit throughout their lives. If we want to be a healthy society, we have to raise generations that produce, not just consume.
With this exemplary project carried out at the Iskele Evkaf TMK, our children learn to both produce and do good deeds by supporting their schools with what they produce. We hope that such projects will be carried out in all schools, and I would like to state that as Evkaf, our support for such projects will continue," he said.
