Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, one of the most valuable symbols of Cyprus, will be restored through a collaboration between the Cyprus Evkaf Administration, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, and the General Directorate of Foundations.

As part of the work to ensure this historical structure is passed on to future generations in a more solid condition, the mosque will be temporarily closed for worship and visits after Friday prayers on April 3, 2026.
