The 15th anniversary of the Turkic Academy was celebrated with a magnificent ceremony at the Grand Mercure Beştepe Hotel in Ankara. The event, attended by leading academics, cultural figures, and government representatives from the Turkic world, featured important messages about strengthening scientific cooperation, cultural interaction, and a shared vision.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer, representing the Turkish Cypriot academic community, attracted attention with his strategic presentation during the panel session. The ceremony began with a promotional film showcasing the Turkic Academy's 15-year achievements and official speeches. The speeches emphasized the Turkic world's shared vision in the fields of science, culture, history, and development. Prominent representatives of the Turkic World, including Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev, Dr. Attila Tilki, Mr. Özgür Volkan Ağar, Mr. Binali Yıldırım, Mr. Aktoti Raimkulova, Ms. Sultan Raev, and Ms. Merey Mukajan, attended the ceremony.

In the afternoon, the Turkic Academy Reports Presentation Panel featured Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer delivered a comprehensive presentation on strengthening transportation and energy connections among the Turkic States. He highlighted topics such as the modernization of the Middle Corridor, increasing TANAP capacity, accelerating trans-Caspian natural gas projects, the TRNC's geostrategic location, the "Single Window" application in customs procedures, a common energy market, and renewable energy investments.

Tümer emphasized that joint policies to be developed in the field of energy and transportation would not only create economic value but also strengthen political harmony and regional stability among the Turkic countries. He also emphasized the strategic importance of the TRNC's location in the Eastern Mediterranean as a key energy and trade partner of the Turkic world, opening to the West.

The event continued throughout the day with panels, a musical concert, and lunch. Presentations on food security, sustainable water management, and education-science collaboration created a comprehensive platform to strengthen scientific solidarity among the Turkic States.

Prof. Dr. Tümer concluded his speech by saying, “Integration in the fields of transportation and energy is a strategic process that shapes the entire future of the Turkic World, from cultural rapprochement to commercial cooperation, from digital transformation to regional security.”
