The "Art for a Lifetime" project, implemented in collaboration with the Cyprus Foundations Administration and the Yunus Emre Institute, launched in Nicosia to connect individuals aged 60 and over with art. The first workshop organized as part of the project was held at the Yunus Emre Institute building on Thursday, September 18th.

Sibel Tatar, wife of TRNC President Ersin Tatar, attended and supported the opening of this meaningful event, which aims to make art accessible to everyone. Tatar, who closely attended the participants, emphasized the importance of such projects that encourage individuals' active participation in social life.

The "Art for a Lifetime" project aims to equip participants with new skills and contribute to their mental and emotional well-being through hands-on workshops such as marbling, woodblock printing, and art therapy.

These vibrant gatherings, held every Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, will be provided free of charge by the organizers.

This special program, limited to 16 participants, aims to increase participants' productivity and reconnect them with social life through art.
