The Sultan of Eleven Months is Coming – May the Blessing of Ramadan be upon you!

Ramadan is the only month mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and its value is emphasised. There is a night in it, as described by the Holy Qur'an: "The Night of Qadr, the night better than a thousand months", in other words, to gain a time like eighty years with the acts of worship performed on this night is "worth a lifetime". May Allah grant us all the opportunity to feel the blessings of Ramadan in order not to miss this opportunity while it is in our hands to welcome the Sultan of the Months in the most beautiful way and to live the most blessed of the nights. Ramadan is the 9th month according to the Hijri calendar and it is the month in which the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) began to know the verses of the Qur'an, as well as the month in which Muslim geographies fast and in the evenings of Ramadan, men and women perform taraweeh prayers in mosques as a congregation. Fasting in this month is one of the five pillars of Islam. In this month, which aims for the Muslim world to experience patience through the worship of fasting, to feel the awareness of the blessings they are in, and to learn about Allah's blessings and mercy on His servants through gratitude, 30 days of fasting are observed. People who fast learn how valuable the blessings are and how to be patient. It is foretold in our holy book, the Qur'an, that the spiritual rewards of fasting, i.e. the rewards, increase exponentially in Ramadan. Ramadan is a month of forgiveness; the person who fasts is forgiven by Allah and is cleansed of his sins with other acts of worship and especially with the inner realm accounting he goes through while fasting. Another importance of this month is that the last day of the month, the morning of the feast of Eid al-Fitr, is unifying and reconciling. In Ramadan, no one can stay resentful to each other. Bad words move away from people, meals are shared and people meet at the same table. Eid morning is reached as the happiest and most peaceful geographies. We are happy to realise Ramadan this year as well. "Welcome to Ramadan!"
