The environmental project has started, aiming for young people to love nature, forests, plants and trees, and to become individuals who protect the whole environment and take care of plants in the future.

With this project, it is aimed to raise individuals who are more knowledgeable, productive, possessive and more beneficial to their families and society.

• Young people do not have sufficient knowledge and skills about forests, Cypriot plants, gardening and our nature,

• for this reason, they cannot adequately embrace nature and the environment.

• School education does not give sufficient importance to these issues.

• The need for them to be more productive and skilled in their family, community and individual lives

This project was designed with justifications. The goal is to train at least one environmental leader in each region and to contribute to that region.

As a result of face-to-face interviews with the applicants, 15 of our young people were entitled to be candidates.

The field work of the environmental leader candidates was immediately started in Geçitköy. It will start with orientation, first aid, forest habitat recognition trainings by our volunteer trainers in Geçitköy and continue with reptiles, forest habitat recognition and garden creation trainings.
