We have young people who follow the path of our grandparents who laid the foundation of the civilization of goodness
The awards of the Let's Compete in Goodness Social Responsibility Project competition, which was developed in cooperation with the Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf) and the Ministry of National Education, with the aim of living and sustaining the Civilization of Goodness inherited from our ancestors, were held on the day Evkaf celebrated its 452nd birthday.
In the competition, in which 35 schools participated in total, nearly 50 projects were signed.
While all of the projects had the theme of kindness, 4 schools were successful. While Kurtuluş High School took the first place with the slogan "My Blood Brother, My Life Brother", the second prize was Democracy Secondary School with the theme "I'm Your Son".
Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School shared the 3rd place with the question "Are you okay?" and Esentepe Secondary School, which said "It's Your Turn to Move".
Congratulating all the students who participated in the award ceremony of the Let's Compete in Kindness Project Competition and making statements about the competition, Cyprus Foundations Administration General Manager Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter said, “After 1571, we had great grandparents who laid the foundations of the civilization of goodness by establishing foundations. During the British period, there were Dr Küçük and his friends who struggled against the British rule and transferred the foundations to the administration of the Turkish society. Today, we have young people who keep the civilization of kindness alive with these beautiful projects and serve the same purpose as their grandparents.”
