Yediler Tomb
Yediler Tomb, located in Yediler Mahallesi, Yediler Street in Nicosia, is on the Green Line. While there are seven tombs side by side inside the tomb, which has a single place and is open for worship, it is believed that the tombs belong to the Ottoman soldiers who were martyred at this point during the conquest of Nicosia.
In 1570, the Ottomans entered Nicosia, and those who were martyred in the first clashes with the Venetians were buried in the places where they died immediately after the war. Here, while these seven heroic people took their last breath, they were again buried where they were. It is also among the rumors that in the place where the Sevens were martyred, there was the house of the King of Venice before the conquest.
