As the last days of Ramadan approach, the Night of Power, which is accepted as the night when the doors of the heavens are opened and prayers and repentance are accepted, will be observed on the night connecting April 5th to April 6th.
The Night of Power, which is the most sacred and virtuous night in Islam, is better than a thousand months that do not include the Night of Power. There is a surah in the Holy Quran that indicates the virtue of this night. In this surah, our Almighty Lord says:
“Indeed, We sent down the Quran on the Night of Power. Do you know what is the Magnitude night? Kadir night is better than thousand nights. Angels and Gabriel descend that night with the permission of their Lord for all kinds of work. That night is peace until dawn." (Surat al-Qadr, 97/1-5)
This night is called the Night of Power because of its honor and value. Because:
•    The Holy Quran started to be revealed on this night.
•    The worship in this night is more virtuous than the worship in a thousand months that do not include the Night of Power.
•    All kinds of events that will take place until the next year are announced to the angels tonight regarding the eternal destiny and determination of Allah Almighty.
•    On this night, Gabriel and many angels descend to the earth.
•    Tonight is peace until dawn, far from all evil. Angels descending to earth greet every believer they visit.
May our Night of Power be blessed, which is better than a thousand months, where resentments and resentments are forgotten and love, respect and tolerance come to the fore as a unifying aspect in our lives.
