The Cyprus Vakıflar Administration (Evkaf) continues to contribute to the country with its community-focused projects. Recently, with the signing of two important protocols with the Shooting Specialization Union and Endemic Garden and Landscaping, Evkaf’s lands are being made available for public use for both social and environmental purposes.

Through the ATAK Project, a joint initiative between Evkaf and the Shooting Specialization Union, the aim is to popularize the shooting sport, which is highly popular in Europe, especially among the youth in Cyprus. As part of the project, a modern shooting and outdoor sports facility will be constructed on Evkaf land in the Karaağaç region, offering both amateur and professional shooters an opportunity to experience sports in harmony with nature. Additionally, the facility is planned to host international shooting competitions, thereby contributing to sports tourism in the region.

Another important collaboration agreement signed is the Green Island Arboretum Project. Launched in cooperation with Endemic Garden and Landscaping, the project aims to preserve and promote the endemic plants of Northern Cyprus. The arboretum will feature native plant species, as well as the cultivation of various plant species brought from abroad. The project also includes a "Plant Museum," where visitors will have an unforgettable experience, and it aims to educate the younger generations through hands-on interaction with nature.

With its long-standing projects, Evkaf continues to provide long-term benefits to both the environment and society.
