TRNC VAKIFLAR RETURNS TO THE SUPER LEAGUE!

Our TRNC Vakıflar Wheelchair Basketball Team, which had a successful season in the Turkish Wheelchair Basketball 1st League, finished the play-off finals in 2nd place, achieving promotion back to the Super League.

Competing in Group A of the 1st League in the 2025-2026 season, our team won 12 out of 14 matches played in the regular season, becoming the group leader on average and advancing to the play-off stage.

Winning 2 out of 3 matches in Play-Off Group A, our team managed to advance to the final group in second place. In the final group, our team lost to Pamukkale Municipality 91-81, but defeated Samsun BESK with a significant score of 94-71, continuing their pursuit of the Super League.

Despite losing to Amedspor in their last match, KKTC Vakıflar finished second in the final group due to the three-way tiebreaker, earning the right to compete in the Super League again after a one-season break.

We wholeheartedly congratulate our athletes, technical staff, and everyone who contributed.
